On 24 May 2024, GLOBALG.A.P. c/o FoodPLUS GmbH will host a live online panel discussion in celebration of the United Nations International Day of Biological Diversity, which is marked on 22 May each year.
Titled “Be Part of the Plan: How can responsible and resilient farming practices promote and protect biodiversity?”, the panel discussion aims to draw public attention to the importance of biodiversity through an insightful discussion and exchange on one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time.
Facilitated by GLOBALG.A.P. Senior Technical Expert, Rene Capote, the virtual panel discussion will engage panelists from across the value chain in a comprehensive exploration of biodiversity protection measures. Each panelist will contribute their perspective on the goals of the UN’s “Biodiversity Plan” and discuss their contributions towards respecting, protecting, and repairing our biological wealth. To close, there will also be a short Q&A session, offering audience members the chance to pose their questions to the panelists.
