Emergency procedures for producers with certified production processes in affected areas

The GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat stands with producers with certified production processes in Israel, the Golan Heights, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Palestinian territories and is offering them the possibility to activate the emergency procedure for certificate validity extension for a maximum period of six months. In addition, certification bodies that are not able to conduct on-site inspections/audits due to the current official travel restrictions and state of emergency circumstances (“force majeure”) may conduct inspections/audits remotely following the GLOBALG.A.P. Remote procedure. The GLOBALG.A.P. Remote procedure may be implemented starting immediately until 30 November 2023. If it becomes necessary to extend the implementation of the procedure, the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat will communicate this fact in a timely manner. The GLOBALG.A.P. Remote procedure is applicable to the majority of the GLOBALG.A.P. standards and add-ons, except for editions recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat will continue to communicate updates on this topic and remains available to respond to questions or concerns.
